- The free consultation is a brief video call where we discuss what brings you to therapy, answer any questions you have, and determine if we're a good fit. There's no pressure or obligation.
- The intake session is $215 and ongoing 1-hour sessions are $180.
- Yes. Tracey is paneled with Aetna, NC State Health Plan, BlueCross BlueShield of NC, and UnitedHealthcare. Please verify your benefits with your insurer before your first session.
- You may still have out-of-network benefits. Many PPO plans reimburse 50–80% of session costs after your deductible. Tracey provides a superbill after each session (a detailed receipt with billing codes) that you submit directly to your insurer for reimbursement. HSA and FSA funds can also be used regardless of network status.
- Standard therapy sessions are 50–60 minutes. EMDR and ART sessions may be longer depending on treatment needs.
- Yes, all sessions are conducted via secure telehealth video. This is available to anyone located in North Carolina.
- EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy for trauma. It helps the brain reprocess traumatic memories so they no longer cause distress, often without needing to talk about the trauma in detail.
- No. Both EMDR and ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy) allow clients to heal without discussing the details of the traumatic event. You are always in control of what you share.
- Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. Late cancellations and missed sessions are subject to a $100 fee. Life happens. Just communicate with me and we'll work it out.
