- The free consultation is a brief video call where we discuss what brings you to therapy, answer any questions you have, and determine if we're a good fit. There's no pressure or obligation.
- The intake session is $215 and ongoing 1-hour sessions are $180.
- Yes. Tracey is paneled with Aetna, NC State Health Plan, and BlueCross BlueShield of NC. Please verify your benefits with your insurer before your first session.
- You may still have out-of-network benefits. Many PPO plans reimburse 50–80% of session costs after your deductible. Tracey provides a superbill after each session — a detailed receipt with billing codes — that you submit directly to your insurer for reimbursement. HSA and FSA funds can also be used regardless of network status.
- Standard therapy sessions are 50–60 minutes. EMDR and ART sessions may be longer depending on treatment needs.
- Yes, all sessions are conducted via secure telehealth video. This is available to anyone located in North Carolina.
- EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy for trauma. It helps the brain reprocess traumatic memories so they no longer cause distress, often without needing to talk about the trauma in detail.
- No. Both EMDR and ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy) allow clients to heal without discussing the details of the traumatic event. You are always in control of what you share.
- Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. Late cancellations and missed sessions are subject to a $100 fee. Life happens. Just communicate with me and we'll work it out.
